..started with KOBANE:
With the arise of the utmost brutal Islamic State in 2015, probably caused by one of the US interventions and all their regime changes, in the Middle East also harsh, i. e. unprecedented, criticism against Turkey arose and some European countries and certainly Germany pressured Ankara to help the Kurdish in the city of Kobane, which was enclosed by the IS fighters and which lies directly at the Syrian-Turkish border. The Turkish under their new president and former Prime Minister Erdogan, however, refused to get active and was, to a big extend, internationally seen as the black sheep, who could but does not want to help the Kurds out.
Often they were portrayed as the one who hate the Kurdish and are just cruel. As the first certainly, and due to the Turkish past, for some Turkish could be right –fact is that most Turkish always have lived in peace with Kurds- there is another aspect not seem from our western point of view- something very simple:
Why should they, as NM asked me, get involved into affairs, foreign affairs- which they, as mentioned, have not even caused- and endangered their son’s lifes?
How is it possible to explain to Turkish parents they have lost their son s life in an unnecessary war?
I presume NM and R.T. Erdogan were right!
While Western politicians and medias, from then on, are criticizing Turkey constantly they say nothing about El-Sisi in Egypt, who has overthrown a democratic elected- only there exists democracy anyway!- government and is sentencing thousands opponents, mainly of the Muslim brotherhood, to death.
